Walk-Through

A- This is the beginning of the graph, or what the sensor is seeing on the tape at the Left side of the range..

B- This is the middle of the graph, or what the sensor is seeing where the floor and the wall opposite the sensor meet. It is common to have a bit of a drop in the graph here, as the corner doesn't reflect as much light.

C- This is the end of the graph, or what the sensor is seeing on the tape at the Right side of the range.

Trouble Spots

1) A curve at the beginning or end of a graph indicates a poorly aligned sensor. Both sides should look similar to ' C ' in this example. Here, the sensor is not seeing the tape directly below the sensor. This can cause numerous tracking issues, as well as different error messages in TechnoHunt.

2) Two (2) dips in the graph here, usually indicating dirt, a scratch, or a bad scuff mark in the tape. Any dip like this is seen as a 'shot' by TechnoHunt, and can cause confusion when the system is trying to track the actual arrow going through. These bad spots should be cleaned or patched immediately.

3) Two (2) more dips in the graph.  (See explanation in #2)

4) Another dip in the graph. (See explanation in #2)

5) Another dip in the graph. (See explanation in #2)
