Thinking about getting your own TechnoHUNT virtual archery system? Our indoor archery ranges require the following:
TechnoHUNT Tunnel Requirements for the TH100 System

The system will arrive at the site in 2 crates; 1) 500lb crate that is 10’ x 3’ x 20” as well as; 1) 300lb crate that is 3.5’ x 4’ x 3.5’. When these arrive, the customer will have to unload the crates into the tunnel before the install technician arrives.
Tools ready for the install: (Your installer will not carry any of these with them)
- 6’ ladder
- Shop Vac WITH DUST FILTER
- 50’ 12 gauge extension cord.
- The help of someone that can lift 75 lbs, for about 1 hour. (To stand up the frames and move them into place).
Tunnel Specs:
- Minimum Width: 10’6”
- Minimum Height: 9’ 3”
- Minimum Length: 55’
- Outlet for the sensors: on left side of the tunnel 1’ below ceiling and 2’ out from the back wall.
- Outlet for the Projector: center of the tunnel on the ceiling or on the sidewall, 19’6" out from the back wall.
- Outlet near desk or counter for the computer: This must be located within 65 feet of the projector outlet so that the VGA cable can reach the computer.
- Outlet on the back wall behind the shooters or on the ceiling where the speakers will hang. This is something that can wait until the installed is on site to show you the best location for the outlet, based on your tunnel layout.
- All outlets must be standard duplex and non-switched.
- Absolutely no fluorescent lights in or near tunnel!

- Outlet for the Uprange Sensors: in a 70’or longer tunnel, on left side of the tunnel 1’ below ceiling and 57’ out from the back wall. If it is shorter than 70’ call Steve Eriksen at 303-908-2789 for the location of this outlet.
- Outlet near desk or counter for the computer: This must be located within 65 feet of the projector outlet so that the VGA cable can reach the computer.
- All of the TechnoHUNT system parts stocked in the tunnel by the time that the installation tech arrives on the job site.
- All outlets must be standard duplex and non-switched.
- Absolutely no fluorescent lights in or near tunnel!
Also Recommended
The following situations are optimal for your TechnoHUNT system's performance:
- Cement floors are best for avoiding vibration issues.
- Build your TechnoHUNT tunnel on the ground floor of your building. This is to avoid vibrations in the floor.
- DO NOT use flash photography in the TechnoHUNT tunnel. The extreme change in light will confuse the light-based sensors.
