Usually if there is a communication problem with the Newton Sensors, the system will ‘Freeze’ when trying to either start a TechnoHUNT game, viewing graphs, or performing calibration (basically anything where it needs to talk to the sensors).
If you just let the system sit for awhile, a message will appear saying something about bad Com 3, or something similar. Instead of waiting, press Ctrl-Alt-Del for the Task Manager and end the task that says ‘Not Responding’. End the drawing window.
It should only take 30 seconds to 1 minute to talk to the sensors and either start the game, or be able to Tune. If the hourglass hangs on the Sensor Graphs screen, or if the Loading TechnoHUNT screen stays on for more than a minute, then it is probably froze, and not talking to the sensors.
Ensure that with the power on, ALL sensors have a bright ray of light emitting from them.

Step 4 – Turn on power to sensors first, then Computer
Turn on the sensors and wait at least 1 minute
Turn on Computer
Try to do a Tune or Start TechnoHUNT
If after doing this, the system still freezes when trying to do a Tune or Start TechnoHUNT, then there is a problem with either the A200, Rocketport Breakout Box, a sensor, or a cable. Call Tech Support at 303-531-4868.
